Auugh! Why am I so fucking anxious about this weekend? The plan was originally to get to Maine three minutes before Sara lands, meet her in the terminal (with flowers from the newsstand), and then enjoy two days of skiing.

Her plane was delayed, though, so I don't know when she'll get in. I need to take a skiing lesson for the first three hours of the ski trip. These are somewhat unexpected (not completely unexpected) and they are not really any kind of big deal, so I don't think they have much to do with the anxiousness (especially since the anxiousness has been lingering for the majority of the week). They're still sort of bummers, though.

But still. What the fuck's with this nervousness? I'm probably just such a fucking scaredy cat.

A, it's nervewracking when your SO is coming back from a long trip.

B, it's nervewracking to do things on a tight schedule.

C, it's nervewracking to go careening down an icy hill.

all of these things are/can also be fun, but combined they're bound to produce some anxiety.

Right.... That's all true. Especially point B, as I really hate doing things and feeling rushed and this is the last thing in the world I want to feel rushed about.

Even a Sara changed by her experiences of late will still love you, and I'd bet that all of this is going to nourish your relationship... not diminish it.

Anyway nervousness isn't always bad. If no one were ever nervous, I'm pretty sure we'd all be idiots, possibly dead ones.

*HUGS*
