Rent is different when you have money

Through Nina and her roommate's generosity, I got the pleasure of seeing Rent on Broadway today, which, as you may know, is awesomeness in a bottle. Of course, it was a blast. It was interesting, however, to note that on my coat was a red ribbon that I got the last time I saw Rent, which was with Sara for our anniversary almost a year ago now. So of course seeing it again made me think a lot about that. Also of note is the fact that Rent, both the musical and the requirement to pay a monthly fee for a living space, is kind of different when you have money (even if not enough to buy your own tent city).
Sara's surely landed in Melbourne by now (about three hours or so ago, most likely--I can't be sure because my flight tracker seems not to be working for this last flight of her's) and it's just past 11 AM there. Crazy. I miss her a ton already.
Addendum: I may have money but I still totally sold my soul.
